I AM BACK ON THE BLOGGING SPHERE!!

Yes, you heard correctly.. I am BACKKK!! But this time, I am no longer in Norwich.. but in the beautiful setting of LINCOLN!! :D

Now, firstly I'd like to apologise for not updating in such an incredibly long time, but since moving to uni my life has been far from the norm (in a good way!) and very hectic! I cannot quite believe how quickly my first term at uni has gone?! 11 weeks I have been in Lincoln and I can honestly say that coming to the University of Lincoln was the best decision I have ever made!! I moved into Courts (Student Village) on the 22nd September and in these 11 weeks, myself and my five other flatmates have become the crazy apartment 7 family and I couldn't wish for better flatmates! Not only have I made the best friends in my flat, but generally I have made so many lovely friends who have made my first term at uni the time of my life! With Lincoln's iconic 'Steep Hill' and mix of quaint old fashioned shops/cafe's and the modern high street stores, it has everything that you could possibly need as a student at University. The BA Hons Drama course which I am taking was definitely the right course for me to pick, as it perfectly guided me into university academic writing and what was expected as a University student. Speaking to tutors and auditioning for as many things as possible, has given me great experience and just makes uni life seem more fulfilled. Our tech week was last week and our performance fortnight and deadlines are within the next two weeks, so I have been working incredibly hard recently to achieve the best I can (first year is not just a doss!) Another brilliant point, and one that is known to typify a student, is that of the NIGHTLIFE. To put it simply: IT. IS. AMAZING! Every single night of the week there is something going on, which suits everyone's specific music tastes! My favourite so far has to be 'SKINT TUESDAYS' at Quo Vadis.. Cheap Booze, Great Music, Funny Bouncers.. You cannot go wrong! (Oddly enough.. Most of my friends have been made here on drunken nights out.. Ooops ;P) Ultimately, University life is all about balancing. You need to make sure you work hard, but also socialise and enjoy yourself. At the end of the day you get out what you put in. If you are paying £9,000 a year - we definitely deserve to bloody well ENJOY IT!

Onto my main reason for starting this back up again.. Because it is now DECEMBER, meaning that the Christmas Countdown is underway.. *EXCITED FLEUR* ;) I wanted to post something christmassy each day, to have a break from Uni work! Last year, I did try to do the 'Capturing December' Photo challenge and was pretty unsuccessful in seeing it through.. So I thought.. 'Hmm.. I'm going to attempt to do it successfully this year!' So without further ado, I will be posting pictures of something Christmassy each day, as listed in the picture below! :) I am a few days late already, so 1, 2 and 3 will all be together in my next post :D

Thank you for reading and I shall keep you updated on my Christmas Countdown!
Love and hugs,
Fleur :)
